5/24. update on road closure

State Route 305 in Southington Township

(Wednesday, May 27 Wednesday, June 3)
SR 305 between Nicholson Rd. and Phalanx Mills Herner Rd. will close Wednesday, May 27 until Wednesday, June 3 for culvert work.
The detour will be SR 88 to US 422. Once this work is complete, additional closures for culvert replacements will occur on SR 305 in Portage County.
Updates will follow before these closures occur.

This work is part of a $2.6 million project to resurface SR 282 from SR 305 to US 422 in Geauga County and SR 305 from SR 700 to the Trumbull County line as well as culvert work on both SR 282 and SR 305.
The entire project is scheduled to be complete by late September 2009.
